BMW G310

BMW's first steps into the world of bikes under 500cc

BMW's first steps into the world of bikes under 500cc

A compact roadster with all the usual details you'd expect from the Bavarian company. Its mid-sized engine and modest price-tag hold the key to the BMW dream. There's no mistaking its golden fork: the G310 is undoubtedly a member of the Munich manufacturer's roadster family.

A safe bet!

With flawless agility and weighing in at 158kg, as well as BMW Motorrad's characteristic mechanical reliability, the little G310 is perfectly suited to all kinds of conditions: in the city, its small size allows it to nip between cars.

Away from the traffic, its 313cc engine is the driving force behind a vehicle that turns out to be surprisingly powerful for its size. Whatever the road surface or the weather conditions, this little roadster's sporty and fully-charged look is sure to turn heads.

A single-cylinder four-stroke liquid-cooled engine with up to 34 hp and a bold design featuring the trademark colours of the Bavarian company. The G310 is fine-tuned for emerging countries and is actually manufactured in India.

Michelin's choice for the BMW G310:
The MICHELIN Pilot Street Radial

To kit out this charismatic roadster, Michelin has chosen the Pilot Street Radial. A radial tyre was chosen because of the motorcycle's lightweight body and sporty character. They have excellent grip even on wet surfaces thanks to their optimal tread pattern.

A direct descendant of Michelin's sport touring ranges, these tyres really amplify the vehicle's sporty performance. Its tread pattern, inspired by the Pilot Road 2, is the finishing touch that gives the G310 a sporty and modern edge.
